Overview

Traveling to Swedish Lapland during the winter months is such a special experience. Imagine staying in three of the most unique hotels in Scandinavia, if not the world, and you have a once-in-a-lifetime trip leaving you with everlasting memories. Starting in the iconic and original Icehotel in the far north, then travel through the scenic winter wonderland by train to Sapmi Nature Camp before continuing south to the mind-boggling Treehotel.

Tour Plan

Day 01

ARRIVE AT KIRUNA

On arrival at Kiruna airport you are met and transferred (20 minutes) to the Icehotel in Jukkasjarvi. Check in to the hotel, receive your winter clothing and learn the art of sleeping on ice. Perhaps book an evening activity in search for the aurora or relax in the one of the restaurants. Dinner and an overnight stay at Icehotel.

Day 02

WINTER ACTIVITY AT THE ICEHOTEL

The sauna will be waiting to warm you up after a night in the Icehotel. Then embark on one of the activities in the snowy wilderness - a must for any visitor to Swedish Lapland. In the afternoon you can check in to the warm accommodation for your second night. Alternatively the first night in the Icehotel can be swapped to the second night. Dinner and an overnight stay at Icehotel.

Day 03

ICEHOTEL - SAPMI NATIONAL CAMP

Transfer to Kiruna train station in time for the train to Gallivare (journey time approximately 90 minutes). On arrival you will be met by your host and transferred (15 minutes) to the nature camp where you will be shown the facilities and how the camp works. Time here is spent learning all about the Sami people and their culture, enjoying a typical home-cooked meal and sleeping in a warm lavvu (traditional tent). Dinner and an overnight stay at camp.

Day 04

SAPMI NATIONAL CAMP - TREEHOTEL

In the morning you are served breakfast in the small lodge before you don the Nordic skis or snowshoes and venture out on trails around the camp. Transfer back to Gallivare station for the service to Boden (journey time approximately 2 hours). You are met at Boden station and transferred to The Treehotel in Harads (journey time 40 minutes). On arrival you check in at the Treehotel's Guesthouse and receive information about staying at Treehotel. The first night is spent in one of the tree rooms and the second night at the Treehotel's Guesthouse. Dinner and an overnight stay at Treehotel.

Day 05

ACTIVITIES AT TREEHOTEL

There are so many optional activities you can pre-book at the Treehotel that you may need more time here. From dog sledding tours to snowmobiling, snowshoeing to ice fishing and Nordic skiing to northern lights photography - please ask our Sales team all the options available. As well as these guided trips, you can also rent snowshoes, kick sledges and Nordic skis to explore the area at your own pace. Dinner and an overnight stay at Treehotel.

Day 06

TREEHOTEL - LULEA AIRPORT, DEPARTURE

After breakfast, transfer to Lulea Airport (journey time 1 hour) as per your flight time for your further journey.

Travel Documents

Original passport with minimum 6 months validity from the date of tour arrival along with sufficient blank pages for the stamping of visa

Visa :

Schengen visa required for Indian passport holder. You need to obtain sticker visa from embassy before your travel to Europe / Scandinavian country.

Payment Terms

Payments can be made by Cheque, Demand Draft, NEFT, RTGS or IMPS. Cheque/Demand Draft should be in favor of "VM HOLIDAYS AND HOSPITALITY LLP".
You can also book your package online with Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking.

Cancellation Policy

If the Guest decides to cancel the tour for any reason whatsoever then s/he shall give a written application to the Company within specified time limit along with original receipt issued by the Company. Such cancellation will attract cancellation charges stated here under.
Cancellation charges will be calculated on gross tour cost and the cancellation charges shall depend on date of departure and date of cancellation.
Cancellation charges for any type of transport ticket are applicable as per the rules of the concerned authority.
Air tickets issued on special fares are NON REFUNDABLE and Guest shall bear cancellation charges.
Any refund payable to the Guest will be paid after the Company receives refund from the respective authorities. The Company deducts processing charges from the refund to be paid to the Guest.

Cancellation Charges :

Before 31 Days : 00%
From 30-22 Days : 25%
From 20-16 Days : 50%
From 15-07 Days : 75%
From 06-00 Days : 100%

Refund Policy :

Refund Process time is 21 working days for any normal cancellation. You will get refund by Bank transfer only.

Note : For any natural disaster or Government Travel Ban, you will get refund as per supplier / hotel / airline policy. If they provide credit note than you will get credit note as per their terms & conditions. We are not responsible for any cash/Bank transfer refunds for it.

Booking Tnc

The above price is per person basis. High Season Surcharges are applicable; rates are not valid for long weekends and public holidays.
Child up to 4 yrs is Complimentary, Adult: 12 years and above.
Personal identification is mandatory to carry on tour for Air Travel, Hotels for security reason like: election card, Driving Licence, Passport.
All rates are valid for Indian national only.
The above given prices are subject to change without prior notice.
The quotation is based on Standard room of individual hotel, however if unavailable then the upgrading cost to be borne by the guest.
Hotel check in is 1400 hrs and checkout would be 1000 hrs. Early check in and late check out subject to availability.
If the above hotels are not available similar category hotels are used as hotel rooms are subject to availability.Hotels may provide room heater at an additional price on direct payment basis.
Meals provided at the hotel (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) are based on a set menu.
Anything other than the set menu will be charged extra.
Driver is NOT A GUIDE; he will take you to the sightseeing’s mentioned in the itinerary. You will have to explore the place of visit on your own.
Vehicle will be not at disposal. If guest wish to go for additional sightseeing extra charges will be applicable.
Itinerary is subject to change.The above mentioned cost is not valid during National Holidays, festive season/long weekends, Christmas & New year.

Special Notes

Airlines/Room up-gradation and complimentary will not be entertained during the tour unless if specified at the time of booking.
There is no refund for any services not utilized during the tour.
Security deposit is required either in cash or credit card by hotels which is refundable provided no room incidentals are incurred. This security deposit is not included in this quote and must be paid by the guests/corporate directly to the hotel when checking in.
Guests are advised not to keep valuables in the coach/vehicle while sightseeing.
The Company shall not be responsible for loss of valuables from the coach / vehicle . If the coach / vehicle is accidentally or otherwise damaged by the Guest, s/he will be required to pay compensation for the same.
