Tour Plan

Day 01

ARRIVAL, JOURNEY TO RUAHA

Referred as the largest national park at Tanzania, Ruaha houses a large population of elephants. The Dar ea Salaam is the nearest airport where you can arrive before transferring to Ruaha. Covering the journey with the stunning typography, the striking landscape and rolling highlands, you will reach Ruaha National Park.

Great Ruaha River enclosed within the National park is the ultimate source of life for the wildlife dwelling there. The riverside flaunts lush green backdrops that add more charm to the natural ambience. Relax and enjoy the leisure day at your lodge once you reach the premises. All your meals and necessities are arranged there for your stay.

Day 02

THE SAFARI TOUR AT RUAHA

The hills, plateau and the river streams feature the scenic beauty of Ruaha National Park. With the dawn, get ready for your bumpy morning safari when you can spot the predators like cheetah, leopards and lion to experience the real wildlife of Africa. Getting back for breakfast and lunch, the day is at leisure before proceeding for the afternoon game drive. 

The Ruaha national park houses a diverse habitat with baobab forests, meadows, wetlands and the water streams like Mwagusi, Mdonya and Jongomero.

The seasonal water stream hides beneath the corridor during the dry season, where you can spot elephants digging well as the source of water. The corridors are a great place where you can find a number of animals gathered in herds. The waterholes also act as the habitat for hippopotamus, fish and crocodiles. Ending up the afternoon game drive by the evening, you are free to return back to the lodge for a dinner and an overnight leisure stay.

Day 03

RUAHA GAME DRIVE

The safari tour will continue for the day with the morning and evening drive. The breakfast amidst the nature and the meals in between the drive will keep you active and enthusiast.

The national park supports a diverse vegetation of flora with an approx of 1400 species. The wildlife in Ruaha holds the population of 500 different species of birds including the falcon, martial eagle, herons, and horn bills during the migratory season.

You can spot the wild dogs along with the predators, elephants, hippos and buffaloes. Your day safari at Ruaha will end at the lodge by the evening where you will be served the tempting dinner meals before the overnight stay.

Day 04

TRAVEL TO MIKUMI

Wake up with the call for morning meals to end the day at Ruaha. Reaching the highlands of Mufindi, you will explore the phenomenal beauty of tea estates, the lush green montane forest, the dense bushland, the crystalline river streams and the densely populated lakes. Enclosed within the pristine vegetation of tea plants and the dense forest, Mufindi highland will welcome you to explore its divine beauty and diverse habitat.

Your day at Mufindi is free to discover the magnetic essence of its nature and indulge in activities like the nature walk, fishing, horse riding and golf. Your leisure day will end at the lodge where you can relax and enjoy the delicious dinner before calling for the day.

Day 05

STOPOVER AT MOROGORO

The morning meal with the stunning dawn is all you need to start up your day at Mufindi highlands. The day is for a long drive to Morogoro that known to be the center of farming.  The city lies at the base of the base of the Uluguru Mountains and offers a home to a diverse species of wildlife. Reaching Morogoro, you can check in to your property and the day is left is for a leisure stay.

Day 06

REACHING SELOUS

Stretching over an area of 50,000 square kilometres, the Selous is known as the second largest conservation reserve in Africa. From Morogoro, a long drive of about 7 hour needs to be covered to reach the untouched terrains of Selous. Declared as the UNESCO World Heritage site, the national park conserves a large population of wildlife that offers a unique experience. You have the day to rest after a long journey at the lodged reserved for your accommodation.

Day 07

THE SAFARI TOUR AT SELOUS

The fresh and pristine dawn amidst nature is a great start for the day. Have the meal before you head out for the safari tour at Selous national park. The full day game drive is planned to explore the wildlife, the natural habitat and the landscape of the region.

What makes the game drive at Selous so famous is the population of some exotic animal dwelling there. The Miombo forest houses the species of African bush elephant, Cape buffaloes, black rhino, lion, hippopotamus, East African wild dog, Masai giraffe and Plains zebra. The water holes hold a population of Nile crocodile. Exploring the habitat of wildlife in Selous, your day tour ends at the lodge where you can enjoy the meal and spend the night at leisure. 

Day 08

SELOUS GAME DRIVE

The Selous tour for the day starts with your early meal before the morning game drive calls. The day will be for a walking safari that is one of the best safari tours to experience at Selous. Explore the enhancing beauty and the calmness of the surroundings with a morning safari walk tour at Selous. The complete guided tour is to discover the wilderness, the vibrant flora and the inhabitants of the wildlife.

A leisure break in between the game drive is for day lunch and leisure before the afternoon safari. The afternoon game drive is to explore the habitat of crocodiles and the hippos lying near to the Rufiji River. A visit to the adjacent village and the day will end the reserved lodge.

Day 09

DEPARTURE

Your morning at Selous is at leisure with the fresh and tempting cuisine for breakfast. Packing up your bags, take the leave from your hotel and you will be directly transferred to the airport at Dar Es Salaam from where you can fly back to your homeland.

Travel Documents

  • Original passport with minimum 6 months validity from the date of tour arrival along with sufficient blank pages for the stamping of visa

Visa :

  • Tanzania E-Visa is available for Indian passport holder. You need to obtain E-visa before your travel to Tanzania.

Payment Terms

  • Payments can be made by Cheque, Demand Draft, NEFT, RTGS or IMPS. Cheque/Demand Draft should be in favor of "VM HOLIDAYS AND HOSPITALITY LLP".
  • You can also book your package online with Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking.

Cancellation Policy

  • If the Guest decides to cancel the tour for any reason whatsoever then s/he shall give a written application to the Company within specified time limit along with original receipt issued by the Company. Such cancellation will attract cancellation charges stated here under. 
  • Cancellation charges will be calculated on gross tour cost and the cancellation charges shall depend on date of departure and date of cancellation.
  • Cancellation charges for any type of transport ticket are applicable as per the rules of the concerned authority.
  • Air tickets issued on special fares are NON REFUNDABLE and Guest shall bear cancellation charges.
  • Any refund payable to the Guest will be paid after the Company receives refund from the respective authorities. The Company deducts processing charges from the refund to be paid to the Guest.

  • From 30-22 Days :  25%
  • From 20-16 Days :  50%
  • From 15-07 Days :  75%
  • From 06-00 Days :  100%

Refund Policy :

  • Refund Process time is 21 working days for any normal cancellation. You will get refund by Bank transfer only.

Note : For any natural disaster or Government Travel Ban, you will get refund as per supplier / hotel / airline policy. If they provide credit note than you will get credit note as per their terms & conditions. We are not responsible for any cash/Bank transfer refunds for it.

  • The quotation is based on Standard room of individual hotel, however if unavailable then the upgrading cost to be borne by the guest.
  • Hotel check in is 1400 hrs and checkout would be 1000 hrs. Early check in and late check out subject to availability.
  • If the above hotels are not available similar category hotels are used as hotel rooms are subject to availability.Hotels may provide room heater at an additional price on direct payment basis.
  • Meals provided at the hotel (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) are based on a set menu.
  • Anything other than the set menu will be charged extra.
  • Driver is NOT A GUIDE; he will take you to the sightseeing’s mentioned in the itinerary. You will have to explore the place of visit on your own.
  • Vehicle will be not at disposal. If guest wish to go for additional sightseeing extra charges will be applicable.
  • Itinerary is subject to change.The above mentioned cost is not valid during National Holidays, festive season/long weekends, Christmas & New year.

Special Notes

  • Airlines/Room up-gradation and complimentary will not be entertained during the tour unless if specified at the time of booking.
  • There is no refund for any services not utilized during the tour.
  • Security deposit is required either in cash or credit card by hotels which is refundable provided no room incidentals are incurred. This security deposit is not included in this quote and must be paid by the guests/corporate directly to the hotel when checking in.
  • Guests are advised not to keep valuables in the coach/vehicle while sightseeing. 
  • The Company shall not be responsible for loss of valuables from the coach / vehicle . If the coach / vehicle is accidentally or otherwise damaged by the Guest, s/he will be required to pay compensation for the same.
