Settled between the peaceful elevations of the great Himalayas are four pilgrim spots namely Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath, jointly recognized as Chardham. Therefore, the Char Dham Yatra begins from Yamunotri, then arranged to Gangotri, and lastly to Kedarnath and Badrinath. The great Hindu philosopher and reformer Adi Shankaracharya initiated the 4 Dham Yatra in an attempt to revive the Hindu religion during the 8th century. Now, thousands of devotees from all around the world become the part of it.

Tour Plan

Day 01

Haridwar – Barkot (205 Km / 7 to 8 hrs)

This morning depart for Barkot, located on the foot of Yamunotri. Drive via Mussoorie and visit Kempt Falls on the way. On arrival at Barkot, check in to your hotel/camp. Rest of the day is free to relax and store your energy for the Pahad (hill) Yatra of Yamunotri the next day. Dinner and Overnight stay at Barkot.

Day 02

Barkot - Yamunotri Dham – Barkot (48 Km / 2 hrs & Start trek 05 KM Each Side)

After Breakfast, you have to take local jeeps for Janki Chatti (It helps to reduce the trek up to 8 km), the trek start from here to Yamunotri(6kms). Either by walk or by horse or by Doli at own cost. Arr. Yamunotri, One can cook rice by packing it in a cloth and dipping it in the hot water of the hot kund. Pilgrims take this cooked rice home as "Prasad". Here near the temple "Pooja" can be offered to Divya Shila, After taking bath in Jamunabai Kund's warn water and having "Darshan" of pious "Yamunaji" returning to Hanuman Chatti. Later drive back to Barkot. Overnight stay and dinner at Hotel.

Places to Visit : 

  • Hanuman Chatti: The confluence of Hanuman Ganga and Yamuna River.
  • Yamunotri Temple: Maharani Gularia of Jaipur built the temple in the 19th Century. It was destroyed twice in the present century and rebuilt again.
  • Surya Kund: There are a Number of thermal springs in the vicinity of the temple, which flow into numerous pools. The most important of these is Surya Kund.
  • Divya Shila: A rock pillar, worshipped before entering the Yamunotri Temple.
Day 03

Barkot – Uttarkashi - Gangotri Dham (200 Km/ 8 hrs Journey)

Drive to Gangotri via  Uttarkashi. Check in Hotel. We proceed to Gangotri (3048 mts), enroute we enjoy picturesque Harsil village, Bhagirathi River and the most magnificent view of the Himalayas. Dinner & overnight stay at Gangotri Dham.

Places to Visit : 

  • Gangotri Temple: The temple, constructed by the Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa in the 18th Century, is situated on the right bank of Bhagirathi.
  • Submerged Shivling: Submerged in the river, this natural rock Shivling is the place where, according to mythology Lord Shiva sat when he received the Ganga in his matted lock. It is visible in winter months when water level decreases.
  • Kedar Ganga Sangam: Around 100 Yards from the Ganga Temple flows the river Kedar Ganga. Starting from the Kedar Valle, this river meets the Bhagirathi on its left bank.
Day 04

Gangotri Dham – Guptkashi - Phata/Sitapur (285 Km / 8 to 9 hrs)

After breakfast, early morning we drive straight to Phata / Sitapur. After arrival check in to hotel and relax. Dinner & Night stay at Hotel.

Day 05

Phata/Sitapur – Sonprayag – Kedarnath Dham (30 Km + 20 Km trek)

After morning breakfast drive to Gaurikund, start your trek from Gaurikund/Phata to Kedarnath (by Helicopter) or trek 19km from Gaurikund. Visit Kedarnath Temple, Bhairavnath Temple & Ratus Kund. Enjoy evening aarti at temple. Dinner & overnight stay at Kedarnath Dham.

Places to Visit : 

  • Kedarnath Dham : The Kedarnath shrine, one of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is a scenic spot situated, against the backdrop of the majestic Kedarnath range. Kedar is another name of Lord Shiva, the protector and the destroyer. According to legend, the Pandavas after having won over the Kaurava in the Kurukshetra war, felt guilty of having killed their own brothers and sought the blessings of Lord Shiva for redemption. He eluded them repeatedly and while fleeing took refuge at Kedarnath in the form of a bull. On being followed he dived into the ground, leaving his hump on the surface. The r! emaining portions of Lord Shiva appeared at four other places and are worshipped there as his manifestations. The arms appeared at Tungnath, the face at Rudranath, the belly at Madhmaheshwar and his locks (hair) with head at Kalpeshwar. Kedarnath and the four above-mentioned shrines are treated as Panch Kedar.
  • Bhairavnath Temple: Bhairon Mandir is located 1 kms from the Kedarnath Temple. From the here one can see the entire Kedarnath valley and Kedarnath Shrine. It is believed that when Kedarnath dham is closed for winter due to heavy snowfall, the deity in form of bhairavnath protect the kedarnath temple complex as well as whole kedarnath valley.
  • Ratus Kund: It is small kund (water source) around 200 mts from Kedarnath temple. Ratus kund also knows as ret kund due to sand in this small tank.
  • Vasuki Tal: 6 km. At 4135 mtr. above sea level, this lake is extraordinary, surrounded by high mountains and offering an excellent view of the Chaukhamba peaks.

Note: passengers who are opting for helicopter services here might come back to Sitapur or back to the hotel on the same day. We have kept the stay arrangement here for the consequent 03 nights. But in case of night stay in kedarnath JI, is not included. Will be directly payable by the passengers. Yes, we can assist sometimes with the arrangements for the stay in Kedarnath Ji. Mandakini, one of the main tributaries of the Ganges originates at Kedarnath and flows through Gaurikund. Trudging with you are pilgrims chanting “Jai Bholenath.” Sometimes the mist would envelop the mountains and slowly lift away, revealing a shiny blinding-white peak that threatens to rupture the skies.

Day 06

Kedarnath Dham – Sonprayag – Sitapur - Chopta - Tungnath Mahadev (20 Km trek down and 60km drive to Chopta, 5km trek to Tungnath Mahadev)

Early morning darshan and pooja at Shri Kedarnath Dham. After breakfast return back to Phata by helicopter. Later we drive to Chopta. After reach Chopta we start our trek to world’s highest Shiva Temple - Tungnath Mahadev. It’s 5km trek per way and trek route is moderate. You can take horse from chopta for two way it costs around 800-1000 Rupee. After return back from Tungnath Mahaved, we drive to Joshimath or stay in Chopta if we return late from trek. Overnight stay and dinner at hotel.

Places to Visit : 

  • Tungnath Mahadev : Tungnath is one of the highest Shiva temples in the world and is the highest of the five Panch Kedar temples located in the mountain range of Tunganath in Rudraprayag district, in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. The Tunganath mountains form the Mandakini and Alaknanda river valleys.
  • Chopta: Chopta is a small region of meadows and evergreen forest area which is a part of kedarnath wildlife sanctuary located in Uttarakhand state, India, and a base for trekking to Tungnath, third temple of Panch Kedar, which lies 3.5 kilometres away.
Day 07

Chopta - Rudraprayag – Joshimath – Badrinath Dham (140 Kms / 6 to 7 hrs)

In the morning after breakfast, drive to Badrinath. Check in to the hotel arrival in Badrinath. Pilgrims after having a bath in the Taptkund have the Darshan of Badrivishal & Aarti in the evening. Brahamakapal is significant for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). Overnight stay and dinner at Badrinath.

Places to Visit : 

  • Badrinath Temple: Located between the two mountains Nar and Narayan, Badrinath Dham is a majestic sight as well as the most important of all the Char Dhams. Lakhs of tourists come every year to this sacred Badrinath town to seek blessings and to get a glimpse of the famous temple of Shri Badrinathji.
  • Tapt Kund: Before entering the Badrinath Temple, one has to take a holy dip in the Tapt Kund. Tapt Kund is a natural hot water pool fed by a sulphur spring which is said to be the abode of Agni, the god of fire. The bathing area has separate arrangements for men and women. Although the normal temperature is 55°c, the water temperature keeps rising gradually during the day. It is considered to have high medicinal value. A dip here is considered to be a good cure for skin diseases.
Day 08

Badrinath Dham - Mana – Joshimath – Rudraprayag (165 Km / 5 to 6 hrs)

Morning after breakfast, visit Mana, India’s last village. There are other interesting sightseeing spot like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund and the "Mukh" of the Saraswati River. Just within the three kms of Badrinathjee. Later driver for Rudraprayag via Joshimath. Visit on the way Narsingh Temple in Joshimath later drive back to Rudraprayag via Joshimath. Check into the hotel arrival in Rudraprayag. Overnight stay at Rudraprayag.

Places to Visit : 

  • Mana Village: It is the last village of Indian Territory at China Border and is just 3 kms from Badrinath. The villagers of Mana are closely linked with the activities of Shri Badarinath temple for they offer a choli to the deity on the closing day of the temple – an annual traditional feat. The Mana village is full of caves and it is said that Ved Vyas dictated his famous epic of Mahabharat to Ganesh, in one of these caves, now known as Vyas Gufa (cave).
  • Vyas Gufa: Visit to Vyas gufa near Mana village an ancient gufa of Shri Vyas Muni where he wrote great grantha of Mahabharata. The caves associated with ancient sages and yogis, like Ganesh Gufa, Bhima Gufa and Muchakanda Gufa are known since very long. 
  • Mata Murti Mandir: About 3 km from Badrinath, on the right bank of the Alaknanda stands this temple, dedicated to the mother of Shri Badarinath (Maa Murti).
  • Bheem Pul: It is a huge rock which acts as a natural bridge across the Saraswati River. The Saraswati River flows with force in between the two mountains and joins the Alaknanda River. It is believed that Mahabali Bheem, one of the five Pandavas, threw a huge rock in order to make a path to join the two mountains so that Draupadi could easily walk over it.
  • River Saraswati: 3 km north of Mana village emerges the river Saraswati from a lateral glacier. Saraswati is known as the Goddess of learning, blessed Ved Vyas to compose the epic Mahabharata at Mana. The river after touching Vyas Gufa, gets lost in the Alaknanda at Keshav Prayag. From here to Allahabad, Saraswati flows incognito. It is said that at the confluence of Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati at Allahabad, the Saraswati remains invisible.
  • Vasudhara Falls: Vasundhara Falls (3 kms from mana village) is one of the famous tourist attractions, which lies in the Mana Village. The water of this cascading falls flows down from the height of 400 ft and is situated at an altitude of 12,000 ft. It is believed that the water of Vasundhara Falls turns away from the visitors who are not pure at heart. Close to the falls are prominent peaks of Satopanth, Chaukhamba, and Balkum.
Day 09

Rudraprayag –Srinagar - Devprayag- Rishikesh (160 Km / 5 to 6 hrs)

Breakfast at Hotel. Later visit Kartik Swami Temple in Rudraprayag. Drive to Rishikesh. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel. Later attend an evening Ganga aarti at Parmarth Niketan or Shatrugn Ghat or Triveni Ghat at Rishikesh.

Places to Visit : 

  • Kartikswami - Temple Above Clouds: In the wonderlands of the Garhwal Himalayas, lies the Kartik Swami temple that remains hidden by the cottony clouds that carelessly drift above the temple. This holy temple is dedicated to Kartikeya, the elder son of Lord Shiva, and is adorned at the end of a narrow ridge, enclosed by a deep valley.  One can soak in the mystical beauty of the snowy peaks and the lower Himalayas that can be seen from here. If you move inside, you’ll be stunned by the beautifully carved idol of Kartik Swami.
Day 10

Rishikesh Sightseeing, Rishikesh to Haridwar, Haridwar Sightseeing, Departure

After morning breakfast we will visit the famous places of Rishikesh. Later enjoy the evening Ganga aarti at Rishikesh. Later our representative will take you to Haridwar and take a sightseeing tour of Haridwar. In the evening drop you at Dehradun Airport / Haridwar Railway station for your further journey. Char Dham tour ends with unforgettable memories of your life. 

Places to Visit :

Rishikesh: The 'place of sages' is a celebrated spiritual town on the bank of Ganga and is surrounded by the Shivalik range of the Himalayas on three sides. It is said that when Raibhya Rishi did hard penances, God appeared by the name of "Hrishikesh" and this area henceforth came to be known as Rishikesh, the YOGA CITY. 

  • Rishikesh Temples and Sight Seeing: We visit Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Janki Setu, Sivananda Ashram, Beatles Ashram, Geeta Bhawan, Parmarth Niketan, Bharat Mandir, Evening Ganga Aarti.

Haridwar: Haridwar, lying at the feet of Shiva's hills, i.e., Shivaliks, in the Haridwar district of Uttaranchal Pradesh, is a doorway. Suryavanshi prince Bhagirath performed penance here to salvage the souls of his ancestors who had perished due to the curse of sage Kapila. The penance was answered and the river Ganga trickled forth forms Lord Shiva's locks and its bountiful water revived the sixty thousand sons of king Sagara. 

  • Haridwar Temples and Sight Seeing: Har-ki-Pauri, Chandi Devi and Mansa Devi Temple, Daksha Mahadev Temple, Bilkeshwar Mahadev, Anandmai Ashram, Pawan Dham, Bhooma Niketan, Vaishno Devi Temple, Doodhadhari Temple, and Bharat Mata Mandir.

Cancellation Policy

  • If the Guest decides to cancel the tour for any reason whatsoever then s/he shall give a written application to the Company within specified time limit along with original receipt issued by the Company. Such cancellation will attract cancellation charges stated here under.
  • Cancellation charges will be calculated on gross tour cost and the cancellation charges shall depend on date of departure and date of cancellation.
  • Cancellation charges for any type of transport ticket are applicable as per the rules of the concerned authority.
  • Air tickets issued on special fares are NON REFUNDABLE and Guest shall bear cancellation charges.
  • Any refund payable to the Guest will be paid after the Company receives refund from the respective authorities. The Company deducts processing charges from the refund to be paid to the Guest.
