Badrinath and Kedarnath are the two shrines holding great importance in Hinduism and are dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva respectively. As per Hindu mythology, these two destinations are imperative shrines with a rich past and extreme prominence in the religion. Thus swarms of devotees throng here every year.

This 08 Nights and 09 Days itinerary takes travelers on a comprehensive spiritual tour of Badrinath Kedarnath Do Dham Yatra. The major destinations on the trip are Haridwar, Rishikesh, Guptkasi, Gaurikund, Kedarnath, Joshimath, Badrinath, Rudraprayag, and Devprayag. The tour starts with a holy dip in the Ganga water in Haridwar. It is a 19 km of a trek to Kedarnath from Sonpryag. It is a drive to Badrinath where a tourist can enjoy nature's beauty as well. Day 01

MUMBAI TO HARIDWAR DEPARTURE BY TRAIN

Group will assemble by 11:00 P.M at Bandra Terminus [BDTS] to depart BDTS HARIDWAR EXPRESS TRAIN to Haridwar.

Day 02

ARRIVAL AT HARIDWAR, TEMPLE DARSHAN & EVENING GANGA AARTI AT HAR KI PAURI

Arrive at Haridwar railway station & transfer to hotel, check in at hotel, freshened & rest for while, than proceed for local sightseeing of Haridwar.

PLACES TO VISIT :

  • Haridwar: Haridwar, lying at the feet of Shiva's hills, i.e., Shivaliks, in the Haridwar district of Uttaranchal Pradesh, is a doorway. Suryavanshi prince Bhagirath performed penance here to salvage the souls of his ancestors who had perished due to the curse of sage Kapila. The penance was answered and the river Ganga trickled forth forms Lord Shiva's locks and its bountiful water revived the sixty thousand sons of king Sagara. 
  • Haridwar Temples and Sightseeing: Har-ki-Pauri, Chandi Devi and Mansa Devi Temple, Daksha Mahadev Temple, Bilkeshwar Mahadev, Anandmai Ashram, Pawan Dham, Bhooma Niketan, Vaishno Devi Temple, Doodhadhari Temple and Bharat Mata Mandir.

Day 03

HARIDWAR TO GUPTKASHI/PHATA (225KMS/7-8HR)

Today morning after breakfast we drive to Guptkashi. On the way, we will stop for lunch and thereafter, we will continue our drive to Guptkashi. On reaching, check in at the pre-booked hotel. The evening is free for visit to Kashi Vishwanath Temple. you can go for a leisure walk while exploring the beautiful surroundings. Take pleasure in an overnight stay and dinner in the hotel in Guptkashi.

GUPTAKASHI is situated within the Mandakini river valley in the Northern Himalayan range. Located at a height of 1,319 meters (4,330 ft), the place is blessed with a salubrious climate. One can witness the stunning views of the snow-covered Chaukhamba peak during the morning hours. Also, large magnolia trees locally named Champa can be seen in the valley. These trees are famous for their sweet-scented smell.

Day 04

GUPTKASHI/PHATA TO SONPRAYAG, SONPRAYAG TO SHRI KEDARNATH DHAM BY TREK OR HELICOPTER (27 KMS DRIVE + 19 KMS TREK/10M HELICOPTER RIDE)

Today morning after breakfast we drive to Sonprayag, and start the trek to Kedarnath, on reaching Kedarnath check in at Hotel, later Darshan of Kedarnath Ji. Positioning right amidst a wide flat terrain, Kedarnath is an imposing sight that is enclosed with tall snow covered mountains. Built by Adi Shankaracharya in the 8th century, the Kedarnath temple is located nearby to the site of an earlier temple which was constructed by the Pandavas. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. One can witness the big statue of the Nandi Bull standing outside the temple as a guard. It is a major highlight of the temple. Also, another major of the temple is its interior that portray scenes from mythology and figures of various deities. An overnight stay and dinner at Hotel.

Day 05

KEDARNATH DHAM PHATA BY HELICOPTER/TREK, PHATA - CHOPTA - TUNGNATH MAHADEV (5KM TREK)

KEDARNATH DHAM PHATA BY HELICOPTER/TREK, PHATA - CHOPTA 

Early morning darshan and pooja at Shri Kedarnath Dham. After breakfast return back to Phata by helicopter. Later we drive to Chopta. After reaching Chopta we start our trek to the world’s highest Shiva Temple - Tungnath Mahadev. It’s a 5km trek per way and the trek route is moderate. You can take a horse from Chopta two way it costs around 800-1000 Rupees. 

TUNGNATH  MAHADEV 

Tungnath is one of the highest Shiva temples in the world and is the highest of the five Panch Kedar temples located in the mountain range of Tunganath in Rudraprayag district, in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. The Tunganath mountains form the Mandakini and Alaknanda river valleys.

CHOPTA

Chopta is a small region of meadows and evergreen forest area that is a part of the Kedarnath wildlife sanctuary located in Uttarakhand state, India, and a base for trekking to Tungnath, the third temple of Panch Kedar, which lies 3.5 kilometers away.  After returning back from Tungnath Mahaved, we drive to Joshimath or stay in Chopta if we return late from the trek. Overnight stay and dinner at the hotel.

Day 06

CHOPTA - RUDRAPRAYAG - JOSHIMATH - BADRINATH DHAM (140 KM / 5-6 HR)

Today morning after breakfast we drive to Badrinath, en-route visit Shri Narshing Temple at Joshimath, and Adi Shankaracharya Math, later proceeds to Sri Badrinath Ji, check in at Hotel, evening visit Mana Village, Byas Gufa, Bheem Pul, Saraswati River, Ganesh Temple, evening Aarti at Sri Badrinath Temple, overnight stay and dinner at Hotel.

Badrinath Dham, a holy town located in Chamoli district in Uttarakhand state in India is famous for people visiting across the nation to get blessed by gods and goddesses. It is very often known as the Char Dham pilgrimage of Hindu devotees and is attended by millions of people across the globe. The name of city has been named after the very famous and renowned global temple Badrinath.

PLACES TO VISIT :

  • TAPT KUND: This kund is very famously known as the natural thermal springs situated on the banks of river Alaknanda. It is mandatory for everyone to bathe here before even entering the Badrinath temple.
  • NARAD KUND: It is a recess in the river, near the Tapt Kund which forms a pool from where ideally the Badrinath idol was recovered.

Day 07

BADRINATH DHAM – MANA - JOSHIMATH – RUDRAPRAYAG (160KM / 7-8 HR)

In the morning after breakfast, visit Mana, India’s last village. There is other interesting sightseeing spot like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund, and the "Mukh" of the Saraswati River. Just within 3 km of Badrinathjee. Later driver for Rudraprayag via Joshimath. Visit on the way Narsingh Temple in Joshimath and later drive back to Rudraprayag via Joshimath. Check into the hotel on arrival in Rudraprayag. Overnight stay at Rudraprayag.

PLACES TO VISIT :

  • Mana Village: It is the last village of Indian Territory at the China Border and is just 3 km from Badrinath. The villagers of Mana are closely linked with the activities of Shri Badarinath temple for they offer a choli to the deity on the closing day of the temple – an annual traditional feat. The Mana village is full of caves and it is said that Ved Vyas dictated his famous epic of Mahabharat to Ganesh, in one of these caves, now known as Vyas Gufa (cave).
  • Vyas Gufa: Visit Vyas gufa near Mana village an ancient gufa of Shri Vyas Muni where he wrote great grantha of Mahabharata. The caves associated with ancient sages and yogis, like Ganesh Gufa, Bhima Gufa, and Muchakanda Gufa are known for a very long. 
  • Mata Murti Mandir: About 3 km from Badrinath, on the right bank of the Alaknanda stands this temple, dedicated to the mother of Shri Badarinath (Maa Murti).
  • Bheem Pul: It is a huge rock that acts as a natural bridge across the Saraswati River. The Saraswati River flows with force in between the two mountains and joins the Alaknanda River. It is believed that Mahabali Bheem, one of the five Pandavas, threw a huge rock in order to make a path to join the two mountains so that Draupadi could easily walk over it.
  • River Saraswati: 3 km north of Mana village emerges the river Saraswati from a lateral glacier. Saraswati is known as the Goddess of learning, blessed Ved Vyas to compose the epic Mahabharata at Mana. The river after touching Vyas Gufa, gets lost in the Alaknanda at Keshav Prayag. From here to Allahabad, Saraswati flows incognito. It is said that at the confluence of Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati at Allahabad, the Saraswati remains invisible.
  • Vasudhara Falls: Vasundhara Falls (3 km from mana village) is one of the famous tourist attractions, which lies in Mana Village. The water of this cascading fall flows down from a height of 400 ft and is situated at an altitude of 12,000 ft. It is believed that the water of Vasundhara Falls turns away from visitors who are not pure at heart. Close to the falls are the prominent peaks of Satopanth, Chaukhamba, and Balkum.

Day 08

RUDRAPRAYAG – RISHIKESH (145KM / 5-6 HR), EVENING GANGA AARTI AT RISHIKESH

Breakfast at the Hotel. Later visit Kartik Swami Temple in Rudraprayag. Drive to Rishikesh. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel. Later attend an evening Ganga aarti at Parmarth Niketan or Shatrugn Ghat or Triveni Ghat at Rishikesh.

Day 09

RISHIKESH SIGHTSEEING, RISHIKESH TO HARIDWAR, HARIDWAR SIGHTSEEING, DEPARTURE

After morning breakfast we will visit famous places in Rishikesh. Later enjoy the evening Ganga aarti at Rishikesh. Later our representative will take you to Haridwar and take a sightseeing tour of Haridwar. In the afternoon drop you at Haridwar Railway station for your further journey. Do Dham tour ends with unforgettable memories of your life. 

PLACES TO VISIT

  • Rishikesh: The 'place of sages' is a celebrated spiritual town on the bank of Ganga and is surrounded by the Shivalik range of the Himalayas on three sides. It is said that when Raibhya Rishi did hard penances, God appeared by the name of "Hrishikesh" and this area henceforth came to be known as Rishikesh, the YOGA CITY. 
  • Rishikesh Temples and Sightseeing: We visit Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Janki Setu, Sivananda Ashram, Beatles Ashram, Geeta Bhawan, Parmarth Niketan, Bharat Mandir, Evening Ganga Aarti.

Cancellation Policy

  • If the Guest decides to cancel the tour for any reason whatsoever then s/he shall give a written application to the Company within the specified time limit along with the original receipt issued by the Company. Such cancellation will attract cancellation charges stated here.
  • Cancellation charges will be calculated on gross tour cost and the cancellation charges shall depend on the date of departure and the date of cancellation.
  • Cancellation charges for any type of transport ticket are applicable as per the rules of the concerned authority.
  • Air tickets issued on special fares are NON REFUNDABLE and Guests shall bear cancellation charges.
  • Any refund payable to the Guest will be paid after the Company receives a refund from the respective authorities. The Company deducts processing charges from the refund to be paid to the Guest.

Refund Policy :

  • The Refund Process time is 21 working days for any normal cancellation. You will get a refund by Bank transfer only.

Note: For any natural disaster or Government Travel Ban, you will get a refund as per supplier/hotel/airline policy. If they provide credit notes then you will get credit notes as per their terms & conditions. We are not responsible for any cash/Bank transfer refunds for it.

Special Notes

  • Airlines/Room up-gradation and complimentary will not be entertained during the tour unless specified at the time of booking.
  • There is no refund for any services not utilized during the tour.
  • Security deposit is required either in cash or credit card by hotels which are refundable provided no room incidentals are incurred. This security deposit is not included in this quote and must be paid by the guests/corporate directly to the hotel when checking in.
  • Guests are advised not to keep valuables in the coach/vehicle while sightseeing. 
  • The Company shall not be responsible for the loss of valuables from the coach/vehicle. If the coach/vehicle is accidentally or otherwise damaged by the Guest, s/he will be required to pay compensation for the same.
